Untrimmed values can be quite a challenge, especially for values used, for example, for reporting. In general this can be done with expert rules, but not in all cases (for example if a value comes from a vlookup) and this is not a real user friendly solution.

It would be nice to have an option in either import slot or data garden to select the values you want to have trimmed automatically, this would be a lot easier and it would help avoid issues with filtering etc.
