Product Update – Reliability, API Integration, and Workflow Improvements
Overview
This release focuses on improving platform reliability, respondent onboarding, API integration capabilities, permission consistency, case management workflows, and data accuracy across the platform. The updates enhance administration experiences, strengthen integration reliability, improve configuration usability, and ensure more consistent handling of respondents, permissions, scheduler links, and ticket management activities.
1. Public API and Scheduler Improvements
Scheduler Open Link Consistency
Scheduler open links retrieved through the Public API now follow the same format as links generated directly from the scheduler. This ensures links open successfully, support parameter passing, and provide a consistent experience across integrations.
Deleted Link Handling in API Responses
Resolved an issue where deleted active scheduler links continued to appear in API responses after being removed from the user interface. API responses now accurately reflect the active links available within the scheduler.
Respondent Creation and Retrieval API
A new Public API endpoint enables external systems to create respondents or retrieve existing respondent links through server-to-server integrations, reducing dependency on open-link creation workflows.
API Documentation Updates
API documentation has been updated to reflect the correct endpoint references and implementation details, helping ensure consistent integration setup and maintenance.
2. Case Management Improvements
Ticket Close Action Reliability
Resolved an issue that prevented tickets from being closed through both individual and bulk close actions. Users can now complete ticket closure activities successfully regardless of the selected method.
Ticket Description Retention
Fixed an issue where ticket descriptions could disappear following close actions or bulk updates. Ticket information is now retained correctly during update operations.
3. Media Library and Role Management
Media Library Permission Alignment
Access behavior for Guru custom roles has been aligned with assigned permissions. Users with appropriate Media Library permissions can now access available actions and download files as expected.
Custom Role Permission Consistency
Permission handling for custom roles has been improved to provide more consistent behavior across environments and simplify role administration.
4. Questionnaire and Scheduler Configuration Improvements
Field Picker Placement Enhancements
The field picker experience within Questionnaire and Scheduler editors has been improved to support insertion on empty lines, including lines created using the Enter key. This provides a smoother configuration experience when building content.
5. Mutation Rule Improvements
Optimized Mutation Rule Execution
Mutation rules now execute only when respondent records are actively updated. Reopening or refreshing completed questionnaires no longer triggers unnecessary rule processing, helping improve efficiency and workflow consistency.
6. Respondent Data Accuracy
Consistent Date Handling
Date handling within respondent input forms has been improved to ensure entered dates remain consistent between respondent-facing forms and stored database records. This helps maintain accurate date values during data collection.
7. API and Version Publishing Stability
System Column Identifier Stability
System-defined column identifiers now remain consistent during version publishing. This improvement supports integration stability and provides more reliable behavior for systems that depend on these identifiers.
What You Need to Know
No manual action is required
Existing configurations and integrations remain compatible
