This article provides you with a short description of the setup of the My Profile page and summarizes the actions that can be taken within it. You are able to access the My Profile menu by accessing the menu in the top right of your screen.
The My Profile page provides you with an overview of the role and preferences that have been set up for your personal account. Some of the settings can be personalized by the user, such as name, gender and date of birth. Others have been set up by the administrator and cannot be edited, such as the e-mail address and the groups that you have been assigned to. This is also the place where you can change your password.
The type of user you are has been predefined by the administrator. This lets you know whether you have access to the complete portal or just the app.
Since there is no one knowing better who you are than yourself, you are able to edit your personal data. This includes your first and last name, date of birth and gender. Your job title is adjustable as well, so be sure to keep it up to date with that promotion you just got!
Especially in larger companies, it is always nice to know who you’re dealing with when communicating through software. Therefore we added an about me section where you can write a little bit about yourself. And since it is always nice to link a face to a screenname, you can click the small pen shaped icon by hovering over the circle in the designated area and upload your personal or company picture.
Features such as the time zone and the language you would like to work in are adjustable to your personal preference as well. Especially when communicating abroad this might come in handy. After you’re done editing your profile, be sure to click the Update Profile button!
Since the role and group have been specifically assigned to you by your administrator, you are not able to alter these yourself. If you feel you should be able to do more than you currently can within the portal, please contact your administrator.
Your current tasks and notifications are listed at the bottom of your profile page. Keep a close eye on these to be up to date with your current planning.
Last but not least, you will find the option to change your password in the top right corner of the screen. Clicking this option will redirect you to a page where you can have a new verification code sent to your e-mail address, so you can reset your password.

As this product is always under development, not all languages are supported yet. At this moment our portal is available in English, Dutch, German and French. If you feel the language of your choice is not being supported yet, please drop us a message at email@example.com.
