This article will give you a clear understanding of the various buttons and its functionality in the overview screen.


Data garden overview screen


When the user clicks on the data garden tab which is found on the left-hand side menu, this will further lead to three sub options.

The data garden tab will be at the root level and will have the following sub options underneath it:

Every sub option will have its own over view screen.

The widget displayed will have various information related to the imported data source.


 


Records and Variables


Records contain all the data on the rows and Variables are the data found on the columns. For instance, when the input of a respondent in a questionnaire is pulled out in an excel.  Be it for any questionnaire type (EPS, Culture Scan, CSAT, NPS, CES), The data on each row is considered as a respondent’s answers he/she has selected on completion of the questionnaires and each column will be allotted per question in the questionnaire set.

This makes life easier to locate the answers selected by each respondent for each question at a glance not only that the number of respondents answered the questionnaire can also be tracked.


 

Every widget will display the following information:

  • Widget name
  • Widget information like no. of Records, no. of Variables, and last imported date.
  • Publish - By using this option the user can publish the widget to respective user/groups
  • Edit – When the user clicks on this pencil icon, the user will be redirected to the detailed screen of the widget where various tabs like General, Definitions, File Sources, Rules in Import, Data view and Log can be edited.
  • When you click on the three tiny dots, you will find the two sub options namely:Deactivate – When the user clicks on this option, a confirmation pops up appears and the widget will be deactivated.
    Remove – When the user wants to remove the Data source, then the user can use this option and a confirmation pop up will appear.



Projects


The widgets will be created automatically for each of the projects.

Every widget will display the following information:

  • Widget name
  • Widget information such as when the widget was created and mutated.
  • Edit – When the user clicks on this pencil icon, the user will be redirected to the detailed screen of the widget where various tabs such as Data view, Import Sources and Log can be viewed.
