Once you have selected the widget that matches your reporting needs, a menu will automatically open up. Within this menu you can update the appearance of the widget.

If you want to open this menu via your dashboard, click on the pen symbol at the top right side of the widget bar.

The first tab shows your widget settings, which include:

Name (for admin us only)

The name you fill out here will be placed in the widget bar on the dashboard. This name is only visible for the administrators when they are in the dashboard editing mode.

Description (for admin use only)

You can add an additional description, which is also only visible for administrators when they are in the dashboard editing mode.

Set custom colorscheme

Every widget has a default colorscheme. This default colorscheme is set up in the dashboard settings. However, you can override the default colorscheme and customize the look for each widget by clicking on the set custom colorscheme box. Here you can choose a colorscheme created by our designers or create a new colorscheme.

                        Choose a pre-made colorscheme:

To select a colorscheme made by our designers, click on the drop-down menu at the right side.

Here you can find all the pre-made colorschemes.

                        Create a new colorscheme:

                        1. Select the set custom colorscheme box

                        2. Click inside the color-box and choose the color you want.

                        3. After selecting your preferred colors in the color-boxes, click on the Save as new button.

                        4. Give your colorscheme a name and click on "add" to have it saved in the drop-down menu.

Full screen mode

Full screen mode enables you to see the widget on the entire dashboard screen.

Exclude from data filter

When selecting the exclude from data filter option the widget will be excluded from all the filters that are being applied to the dashboard.

Show in mobile view:

By default, every widget you add will be available in the mobile app as well. But some widget types are not very suitable to be viewed on a mobile device, such as large tables for example. In that case you can deactivate this toggle. Now, when accessing the dashboard with the mobile app, this specific widget is not shown.

After filling out the general settings, you can continue by adding the datapoints that you want to show in your dashboards. You can add either Datapoints with Fixed values or Datapoints with Dynamic Values.
