This article will explain the functionality of the import function when using an expert rule in the tab: Add Rule (Expert/Import).

In your rule summary screen, you will find two tabs on the top right hand corner of the page. To import your expert rule of choice, you have to click on the Add Rule (Expert/import) button.

You will now land on the expert rule creation page, where you can enter your expert rule in the dedicated field. In addition you can also import a file with the dedicated rule directly.

To import you rule, you just need to click the import button and a popup will appear, requesting you to click or drag the file with your rule into it, as you can see in the image below. These rules are typically stored in .txt type files.

After the upload, your rule will be reflected in the Expert Code field.

Assuming you already provided a name for your rule, you just have to click save and your rule will be adopted into the rule list.
