In order to import data into your portal, you can set up Import sources. 

An import source defines how the imported data is set up (e.g. which columns are present). And it indicates from what source you want the import slot to pick up its files: a manual import or an automated SFTP import. 

With a manual import you can manually select a file on your device that you want to upload, after which it is immediately processed. 

With an SFTP import you can connect the import slot to a specific folder on your SFTP environment, and any file uploaded in that folder will be automatically imported into your import slot within five minutes.
