We have released a new version of our software, mainly focussing on a new feature for respondents: the Accessibility functionality. This functionality provides visually impaired respondents tools to access the questionnaire with more ease. This release also includes several minor bugfixes, mainly focussing on dashboards.
Dashboards
We improved upon the scaling of the widgets with an autofill option. All scales now mediate to the same fill level per score and they will dynamically adjust to the size and shape of the icon. The fixes are enabled for iconized widgets, top/bottom 5 ad 10 scoring widgets, scoring widgets with fill, compare periods, month/quarter/year to date and kpi widgets. Please note that for a fill to work dynamically a minimum and a maximum value should be known as per the calculation.
We fixed an issue where the axes of the priority matrix with promotor/passive/detractor values that are exactly the same, or that end up in a perfect 0 value got misaligned.
We improved upon the minimum and maximum division of the axes where the indicators on the priority matrix were situated too close together, ensuring that these indicators are less likely to overlap.
We added default description fields on each widget under the "i" icon, explaining to dashboard users what a certain widget does and what its options are. These fields are customizable in the setting for your own revisions or adjustments of these texts.
Analyzer
We improved on the loading times of the analyzer.
Database
We elaborated on the existing retention period for questionnaires that have never been started. We added a period of 730 days and a period of 1095 days to the dropdowns to be chosen from
We added a new retention option that automatically marks records for deletion no matter the status. This option automatically deletes all records that are of a certain age. We have added selection options for 1-10 years.
We have provided a fix for a corner case scenario where if a respondent opens the questionnaire on multiple devices at the same time. If in this case in one of two devices a questionnaire is completed, that completion now takes precedent.
API
We added a new Json import functionality that makes use of dynamic Json, so that special characters no longer need to be escaped.
Accessibility
On the template page of the questionnaire, you will find a new switch. Turning this switch on will turn on accessibility features after updating the live version of the questionnaire. This will provide respondents with making use of two accessibility features, enabling optically challenged respondents to access the questionnaire in a more user friendly way:
Changing font size: The user can manually change the font size of the questionnaire to a larger font
Changing the contrast settings: The user can manually change the background and font colors to a different contrast setting.
By resetting the accessibility settings back to default the respondent can return to the original view of the questionnaire.
