Product Update – Dashboard reliability, Filtering and Media Consistency
Overview
This release delivers a set of reliability and usability improvements across dashboards, filtering and media rendering. The updates focus on consistent filtering behavior, smoother dashboard interactions, accurate exports and reliable SVG image rendering.
1. Improvements to Filtering and Dashboard Interaction
Empty / Not Empty Filter Alignment
Resolved inconsistencies in how Empty and Not Empty filters behaved across different areas. Filtering now returns consistent and accurate results across dashboard filters, widget filters, and account-based filters, with aligned counts and calculations.
Freeze Filter Stability
Fixed an issue where applying a freeze filter could cause the screen to become unresponsive. Freeze filters can now be created, saved, and managed smoothly without interruptions.
Dashboard Filter Widget Enhancements
Improved the dashboard filter widget to make interactions clearer and more intuitive. Enhancements include smoother scrolling behavior and improved visibility of key actions such as Apply and Save, ensuring a consistent experience across devices.
2. Dashboard Accessibility and Usability Enhancements
Dashboard Menu Scrolling Fix
Resolved an issue in the Experience app where users were unable to scroll to the end of the published dashboards menu. All published dashboards are now fully visible and accessible for Admin, Collaborator, and Guru users.
Datagrid Fullscreen and Scrolling Fix
Resolved an issue where multiple conflicting scrollbars appeared in the Datagrid widget. A fullscreen mode has been introduced to improve navigation, keeping headers and pagination visible while providing smoother scrolling across screen sizes.
3. Data Accuracy and Validation Improvements
Dashboard Export Data Accuracy
Fixed an issue where exported bar chart data did not match the dashboard display. Export logic has been corrected so Excel, PDF, and image exports now accurately reflect the data shown in dashboards.
Restriction on System Columns (sys_)
Added validation to prevent creating, editing, or importing database and import columns that start with the reserved sys_ prefix. Invalid column names are now blocked with a clear error message and will no longer appear in data views or exports.
4. Media Rendering
SVG Image Rendering Fix
Resolved an issue where SVG images were displayed as placeholders instead of rendering correctly. SVG files now display properly across the Media Library, questionnaire configuration screens, and respondent web and mobile views.
What You Need to Know
No manual action is required
Improvements are limited to filtering behavior, dashboard usability, media rendering and data validation.
Other known issues in unrelated areas continue to be tracked separately
