Product Update – Dashboard Accuracy, Reporting Controls, and Integration Enhancements
Overview
This release improves reporting accuracy across dashboards, strengthens rule execution stability, enhances questionnaire formatting options, and introduces additional flexibility for API exports and data imports. The focus is on ensuring consistent calculations across timezones and reporting years, while maintaining full backward compatibility.
1. Dashboard Calculation and Timezone Improvements
Last Day of Selected Period Calculation
We reviewed the way tables calculate values for the last day of a selected period. In specific scenarios, the final day previously produced slightly different results. Calculations are now aligned to ensure consistent and accurate output.
Improved Timezone Handling
Dashboard calculations now better account for alternate timezones, particularly for responses collected around midnight. This ensures that data is attributed to the correct reporting period, regardless of portal timezone settings.
2. Reporting Controls and Dashboard Consistency
Reporting Year Application Across Dashboards
Reporting Year selection is now consistently applied across all dashboard widgets and reporting modules. Grouping, labels, and period-based calculations such as Year-to-Date, Quarter-to-Date, and Month-to-Date now reflect the selected reporting year correctly.
Valid Period Restrictions for Non-Standard Reporting Years
When a reporting year does not follow a January–December cycle, unsupported period options such as Quarter-to-Date are now restricted. This prevents inconsistent or misleading reporting results.
3. Questionnaire and Rule Execution Stability
Verdana Font in Questionnaire Editor
The Verdana font has been added as an option for question text, answer options, and descriptions. On non-Windows devices, the system automatically uses a compatible fallback font to maintain consistent display without affecting layout.
Event-Based Rule Stability
Improved handling of invalid column references and empty values ensures that event-based rules execute more reliably. These updates increase overall stability without impacting existing configurations.
4. API and Data Import Enhancements
Codes or Labels Option for API Exports
A new API parameter allows project data exports to return either codes or labels. The default behavior remains unchanged, ensuring compatibility with existing integrations while offering additional flexibility for reporting use cases.
Add Record to Import Source
Users can now add records directly from the Data View to an import source without errors. Clear success and error notifications are displayed to confirm the outcome.
What You Need to Know
No manual action is required
Backward compatibility is fully maintained
In rare cases, minor corrections may be visible in historical dashboard outputs due to improved calculation logic
