Release notes June (Batch 3)

Product Update – Improvements to Respondent Experience, Email Scheduling, Data Retention, Accessibility, and Mobile Platform Support

Overview

This release focuses on improving the respondent experience, increasing reliability for email scheduling and data processing, strengthening retention management, enhancing accessibility, and ensuring continued compatibility with mobile platform requirements. The updates are designed to improve usability, consistency, and system performance while preserving existing functionality.

1. Improvements to Respondent Experience and Accessibility

Root Cause Answer Selection Visibility
Improved the respondent experience on Root Cause pages when only Main answer options only are available. Selected answers are now clearly highlighted using the configured Primary Color across web and mobile platforms, making selections easier to recognize and reducing confusion.

Improved Access to Language and Accessibility Settings
Updated the Respondent View with separate, clearly visible icons for language selection and accessibility settings, making it easier for respondents to personalize their survey experience and access accessibility features.

2. Email Scheduler Performance and Processing Improvements

Optimized Email Invite Processing
Improved the Email Scheduler to better support high-volume processing scenarios and overall system performance. This helps maintain reliable invite processing as survey volumes grow.

Invite Delivery Timing Guidance
To support improved scalability and system performance, email invite processing now follows an optimized scheduling approach. In some cases, invite delivery may occur within a processing window of up to two hours after import.

For situations where immediate delivery is preferred, users can use the “Send Mail Now” option from the Email Scheduler to trigger invite processing sooner.

Scheduler Stability and Reliability Improvements
Enhanced scheduler execution handling to improve stability and avoid unnecessary processing while maintaining existing invite and reminder behavior, reminder intervals, exclusions, blacklist handling, and email delivery workflows.

3. Data Retention and Retention Settings Improvements

Reliable Retention Deletion Execution
Retention processing has been enhanced to ensure records marked for deletion are consistently removed once the configured retention period expires.

Retention Settings Update Reliability
Improved reliability of updating and saving Source retention settings, reducing interruptions during configuration changes.

4. Mobile Platform Compatibility Updates

iOS Compatibility Improvements
Updated mobile compatibility to align with the latest Apple platform requirements, ensuring successful application build creation and continued platform support.

Android Store Compliance Update
Updated the mobile framework and application permissions configuration to align with the latest Google Play Store requirements. This change supports continued app publishing and does not introduce additional permissions.
