Product Update – Capture More Meaningful KPI Feedback with Intuitive Sentiment Icons
Overview
The value of KPI reporting depends on the quality of the feedback you collect. To help respondents interpret KPI rating scales more naturally, we've introduced an optional Icons view for KPI questions. By presenting ratings with intuitive sentiment icons, respondents can more easily identify the option that reflects their experience, helping organizations collect feedback that is clearer, more consistent, and easier to interpret when making business decisions.
1. Improved Respondent Experience for KPI Feedback
Help Respondents Express Their Experience More Naturally
KPI questions can now be presented using either the traditional Number view or the new Icons view. The visual sentiment indicators make it easier for respondents to understand the meaning behind each response option at a glance, helping them select the answer that best represents their experience.
Collect Feedback with Greater Confidence
When respondents can interpret rating scales more easily, they are better equipped to provide feedback that reflects their intended sentiment. This helps survey owners review KPI results with greater confidence and supports more informed decisions based on respondent feedback.
Flexible Presentation Without Changing Your KPI Measurement
Organizations can choose the presentation style that best suits their audience by selecting either Number or Icons view for KPI questions. While the respondent experience changes, the underlying KPI methodology and scoring remain the same, allowing you to enhance usability without affecting how KPI results are measured.
Tailor the Experience to Your Audience
The Icon view includes configurable sentiment icons, allowing organizations to customize how each KPI rating is visually represented. The selected icons are automatically displayed to respondents, creating a consistent experience across questionnaires. Default icons can be restored at any time if required.
Available Across Key KPI Question Types
This enhancement is available for the following KPI question pages:
NPS
CSAT
CES
EPS
What You Need to Know
No manual action is required.
Existing KPI questions will continue using the Number view unless you choose to enable Icons view.
Icons view is optional and can be enabled whenever it best suits your questionnaires.
Changing the view affects only how respondents see and interact with KPI questions in respondent view. KPI scoring, reporting, and analytics continue to work as they do today.
Icons customization is optional, and the default icons can be restored at any time.
This enhancement applies only to the areas listed below.
